Ear Infections

Recurrent ear infections are a common problem for young children (although they can occur at any age) and are often associated with early bottle feeding and food intolerances. The main symptoms are ear ache and feeling generally unwell. The child may vomit and suffer from a temporary reduction in their hearing (this isn’t the results of ear damage but pus and wax blocking the eardrum).

At The Nutrition Link we can advise you as to the foods most likely to be causing problems for your child and what to do to help prevent your child from developing further intolerances. There are some common allergens which can lead to ear infections. We can help to identify these, as well as advise on positive foods to eat. We can also talk you through natural ways to provide relief from ear infections and ear ache.
