Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a common gynaecological condition in which the lining of the womb implants and grows outside the womb itself. These endometrial implants can grow in the pelvis, fallopian tubes, ovaries, bladder and bowel. They respond to the natural hormonal cycle and bleed during menstruation causing pain and inflammation.

Although nobody knows for sure what causes endometriosis, nutritional therapy has helped many women reduce the symptoms associated with endometriosis, by helping to balance hormone levels and reducing inflammation in the body. We can help identify which foods can help your symptoms, and which may be exacerbating them.
