Suspension, Termination and Indemnity

If you breach or fail to comply with these terms or any part hereof, we may take such action as we deem appropriate and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:

  • Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our Site
  • Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you to our Site
  • Issue of a warning to you
  • Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach
  • Further legal action against you
  • Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary

Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

The English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our Site although we retain the right to bring proceedings and enforce judgements against you for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country. These terms of use are governed by English law.

You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you. ORDERING PRODUCTS and SERVICES

Products displayed on our website can be ordered securely online through our online shop with payment secured & processed by Stripe.

We accept the following credit & debit cards – MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Visa Electron, Maestro, Switch, Solo, All options can be selected during the checkout process.

Once you’ve placed your order and provided a valid email address you will receive an email order confirmation and a receipt of your credit card transaction

Nutritional Therapy Consultation Services

We offer one off Health MOT and consultation appointments as well as Nutritional therapy packages comprising a number of nutritional therapy appointments. All of our consultation appointments and services are subject to our general Terms of Engagement which can be found here

For all our consultation services you are required to pay for your appointment or package via our website at the point of booking. You will also be required to complete an online questionnaire and to give consent to the terms and conditions of the appointment or package purchased (these will be made available to you at the point of booking). If you do not complete your questionnaire and your consent forms ahead of your consultation we will be unable to proceed with your nutritional therapy appointment and you may be charged additional fees to rebook on another occasion.

Please note that we require a minimum of 24 hours notice to reschedule appointments. Otherwise you are liable for the full consultation fee.

After your consultation you will receive a written report including food (and where appropriate lifestyle, testing and supplement recommendations. Your report will be made available to you through our secure Practice Management System (usually within 48 hours of each consultation unless otherwise specified).

Please note that additional charges apply for any recommended tests and supplements. The Nutrition Link may receive a small fee from supplement and testing companies to cover the costs of administration and time involved to advise you on these products and services

It is confidential that you are a client of The Nutrition Link Ltd, as well as what you discuss in your sessions. There are however, some limits and exceptions to confidentiality. 

If your consultant has serious concerns about your safety or the safety of another person normal confidentiality may be lifted. You will be asked to provide your GP’s contact details, as someone they may contact. The Nutrition Ltd keeps a record of your name, contact details and dates and times of appointments on a password-protected database. Your consultant is required to keep brief notes about the focus of your work. These are kept securely and are password protected. Any reports produced by The Nutrition Link Ltd to evaluate the service contain anonymised data and will not contain any identifying information of clients.

Health Tests

We use a variety of suppliers for our test kits and other physical products. When you send your order over the internet, we will send you an order confirmation by email. All order confirmations will be sent on or before (but no later than) delivery of your sample collection pack or home test kit.

After your payment has been processed we will forward you the necessary sample collection pack / home test kit needed. This should be dispatched within 5 working days depending on stock.

All dispatch dates quoted are approximate only. All shipments are sent first class or by courier. No specific times will be allotted to delivery.

It is your responsibility to inspect your order immediately upon delivery. You shall notify The Nutrition Link within 7 days of delivery in respect of any damage to the sample collection pack(s) / home test kit(s), shortfall or incorrect specification being delivered. If you do not notify The Nutrition Link within 7 days following delivery, the order received shall be deemed in accordance with the order placed by you and completely satisfactory.

We aim to provide your test results within 10-15 working days of receipt of your returned sample(s). Your results will be shared with you securely via our Practice Management system Practice Better

Serum and plasma samples are stored frozen and retained for a period of 1 month by the processing laboratories in accordance with the Royal College of Pathologists Guidelines. Additional testing or retests will only be performed upon specific request by the client. Samples will be disposed of after this period by incineration.

All orders may be cancelled and refunded prior to the issue of the sample collection pack(s) or home test kit(s).

Under the Distant Selling Regulations you may cancel the order within 14 days following the date it was received. To do this you must either notify The Nutrition Link by email or by post t informing The Nutrition Link that the order is being returned under the “14 day cooling off period”. The test kit must be returned with sufficient outer packaging to ensure that no damage is caused in transit to The Nutrition Link. The costs of returning the sample are borne by you.  A refund will be made within 30 days of receiving the cancellation request. Refunds will not be given after the sample collection pack(s) or home test kit(s) has/ have been used

In purchasing our products you are agreeing with our terms and conditions and therefore agree not to sell our test kits outside of England, Scotland and Wales.

Any advice given by The Nutrition Link in relation to results from our test kits does not supersede advice given by a medical doctor and medical concerns should be referred to a medical doctor.

Meal Plan Services

Our meal plan service products must be paid for at the time of booking. Ahead of preparing your meal we require you to complete an online questionnaire via our secure Practice Management portal. We will then prepare and forward your meal plan within 5 day’s receipt of your completed questionnaire. You may cancel your Meal plan order prior to completing your questionnaire and we will refund you. Once you have completed your questionnaire then we are unable to provide refunds. If in the unlikely event that you are unsatisfied with the content of your meal plan once you have received it then let us know and we will do our best to rectify your plan to meet your needs

Affiliate Products and Services Offered via The Nutrition Link

The Nutrition Link offers a variety of affiliate products and services. When purchasing such products and services you will be diverted through The Nutrition Link online shop to the affiliate in question. Once on the affiliate site then you are bound by the terms and conditions of the affiliate and The Nutrition Link takes no responsibility for any products and services purchased through these channels

FEEDBACK & COMPLAINTS

We welcome any form of feedback to help us to improve the service we offer. If you have a complaint regarding any aspect of The Nutrition Link, please contact us. We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 5 working days. We will keep you informed as we handle your complaint and will, in most cases, be able to resolve this within 30 days.

FORCE MAJEURE

The Nutrition Link shall have no liability for any failure to deliver goods, any delay in delivery or for any damage or defect to goods caused by any of the following events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control: Acts of God, flood, riots, fire, drought, war or legislation.

ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

This website may include unintentional inaccuracies or typographical errors, for which we apologise. The Nutrition Link reserve the right to make changes in the products, prices and content described in this website at any time and without notice. We reserve the right to not supply goods and to cancel your order in the event of a pricing error or omission. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale, at any point prior to dispatch, for whatever reason.
