Warm herby nuts
Looking for a healthy snack to keep you going? Look no further! These warm herby nuts tick all the boxes. Deliciously crunchy and packed with flavour, the warm herby nuts recipe is rich in a wide variety of nutrients including protein, healthy fats and a wide variety of vitamins and minerals
Cooking and preparation
- Preparation = 5 minutes
- Cooking = 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 500g assorted mixed unsalted nuts
- 2tbps coarsly chopped rosemary
- half tsp cayenne pepper
- 2tsp dark muscavado sugar
- 2tsp sea salt (optional)
- 15g of unsalted butter or coconut oil
- melted
Directions
- Spread nuts out flat on a baking tray and toast in the oven for approx 10 minutes in the oven for approx 10 mins until light golden brown, 180C / gas mark 4
- Meanwhile mix all the other ingredients in a pan
- When the nuts are done, add to the pan with the other ingredients and mix well
- If you are serving immediately then heat through on top of the cooker and serve, if not you can store in an air tight container and eat cold or reheat
- Great served as a snack or added to salads and stirfries!
